Look, I’ve stayed in a lot of places around Karpacz, but Kryształ A10 honestly surprised me – and that 9.5 rating isn’t just fluff, it’s actually earned. The address says Nad Łomnicą 15a/10, which if you know the area, puts you right in this sweet spot where you’re close enough to walk into town but far enough from the main drag that you won’t hear drunk tourists stumbling back from the bars at 2 AM. The “Garaż” part of the name had me a bit confused at first (I mean, garage doesn’t exactly scream luxury accommodation), but it turns out they’ve converted this space so thoughtfully that you’d never guess its origins.

What really got me was how they’ve managed to capture that mountain lodge feeling without going overboard with the rustic thing – you know what I mean, where everything’s so aggressively wooden that you feel like you’re sleeping in a theme park. The apartment itself feels genuinely lived-in in the best way, like someone’s stylish friend just handed you the keys to their weekend place. The kitchen actually works (I cooked breakfast there and didn’t want to throw any of the appliances out the window), and honestly, after dealing with those tiny hotel coffee makers for years, having proper counter space felt almost luxurious. The location puts you about a ten-minute walk from the Gubałówka funicular – which, let’s be real, is probably why you’re in Karpacz anyway – but you’re also close enough to those little grocery stores and the decent pizza place on the main street that you won’t starve if you don’t feel like hiking down to the hotel restaurants.

Here’s the thing though – the parking situation is actually sorted, which anyone who’s driven around Karpacz during ski season will tell you is basically a miracle. And the whole check-in process was refreshingly straightforward, none of that awkward standing around while they explain seventeen different breakfast options you don’t care about. The place stays quiet even when it’s busy outside, probably because it’s just off the main pedestrian chaos but still walkable to everything that matters. I’d definitely stay here again, especially if I was planning to actually spend time in the apartment rather than just crash between mountain adventures. It’s one of those places that makes you feel like you made a smart choice rather than just booked whatever had availability.
