Kozichky Guest House

Kozichky Guest House turned out to be a real gem in picturesque Tatariv — I booked it almost randomly based on good reviews, and didn’t regret it. This three-star hotel is located on Verbivska 750A, a bit away from the central hustle, which is actually a plus — quiet at night, but still close to the ski lifts. The hosts are very welcoming, they met us in the evening (I called ahead), showed us the room and told us about mountain routes. Parking is free right by the house — for those driving, this matters because parking in Tatariv can be tight.

The rooms are quite cozy, though not luxurious — everything necessary is there: decent bed, hot water, Wi-Fi works reliably. Breakfasts are homemade and delicious, especially the hostess’s syrniki — I’d return here just for those. In winter it’s perfect for skiers (10-15 minutes to Bukovel), and in summer — for mountain hikes and escaping city noise. The only downside — the room was a bit chilly in February, but they provided an extra heater and the problem was solved. For the money — quite a decent option, the hosts do their work with heart, and you can feel it.
