Котедж “Явірник”

Котедж “Явірник” turned out to be a pleasant discovery in Tatariv — a quiet, cozy corner with very hospitable hosts. This four-star hotel truly deserves its 8.0 rating, and I understand why. Located on Nezalezhnosti street, it’s situated a bit away from the main tourist hustle, which is actually an advantage — here you can truly rest after a day in the mountains. Parking is free right next to the cottage (a real rarity in this area!), and check-in was quick and without unnecessary formalities.

The rooms are clean and well-equipped, though not luxurious — exactly what you need after a day of skiing or hiking. I especially liked that the cottage has a small kitchen where you can make tea or a light breakfast — very convenient when you don’t want to search for a cafe every morning. The hosts are very attentive and always ready to suggest the best routes or where to buy groceries. In winter it’s especially cozy here — the heating works well, and the windows offer a nice view of the snow-covered slopes.

The only downside — the walls are a bit thin, so if neighbors are active, you can hear them. But overall the atmosphere is very peaceful, most guests come here specifically for the quiet and relaxation. It’s about 10-15 minutes walk to the lifts (or 5 minutes by car), which is quite acceptable. I especially recommend it to those looking for a homely atmosphere instead of standard hotel service — here you really feel like you’re visiting good friends.
