Cottage Chalet-Tiara Overview
Cottage Chalet-Tiara turned out to be a real gem during our winter trip to the Carpathians! Located on I. Franka Street in the heart of Slavske, this four-star hotel exceeded all expectations. The owners are very welcoming — they met us even late in the evening (we got stuck in traffic near Lviv) and helped with our luggage. Free parking right next to the building is super convenient, especially in winter when you don’t want to drag your skis halfway across the village.
The cottage itself is decorated in true Alpine style — wooden beams, cozy fireplace, attention to detail everywhere. Our room was perfectly clean with a wonderful mountain view. I especially loved the bathroom — modern fixtures and hot water always available (important after a day on the slopes!). Breakfasts are homemade and delicious — the hostess cooks borscht and varenyky using family recipes. WiFi works reliably, which is important for those who occasionally work remotely.
It’s a 7-10 minute leisurely walk to the Trostyan lift, though the path can be slippery in winter, but locals keep it salted. Everything in Slavske is nearby — shops, cafes, equipment rental places. The only downside — walls are a bit thin, you can hear neighbors, but it didn’t bother us much. The hosts are happy to share info about local trails and secret photo spots. We’ll definitely return here next winter, maybe even try summer — they say it’s wonderful for mountain hiking.

Чистий, надзвичайно теплий і доглянутий котедж! Тут є все і навіть більше (дитяче ліжечко з новим ортопедичним матрацом нам підготували завчасно за проханням, також горщик і накладки на унітаз для дітей є). Все чудово, меню страв дуже широке, а смачно як...ням-ням!!!!! Доставка замовленої їжі відбувається на котедж, це зручно дуже, коли є малі діти!
