Котедж “Райський куточок” turned out to be a real gem in Yaremche — one of those places you keep coming back to. This four-star hotel is located on Partizanska Street, and while the name might sound grandiose, everything is actually very cozy and homey. The owners clearly put their heart into every detail: from handcrafted wooden furniture to authentic Hutsul embroidery on the walls. Parking is free (which isn’t always the case in the Carpathians), and you can leave your car right by the cottage without any worries.
Check-in is quick, though the hosts always tell you about the best mountain routes and where to buy the freshest brynza and vurda cheese — their advice turned out to be golden. The rooms are spacious with large windows through which you can see misty peaks in the morning (if you’re lucky with the weather). Soundproofing is decent, but sometimes you can hear neighbors returning from evening walks — though this adds to the atmosphere rather than disturbing. The shower with hot water works reliably, which you especially appreciate after a day in the mountains.
Breakfasts here are homemade — real Carpathian syrnyky with homemade jam and coffee that actually energizes you before hiking Hoverla or visiting Probiy waterfalls. In winter, the cottage is especially cozy: there’s a fireplace, warm blankets, and you generally feel like you’re in a fairy tale about a mountain cabin. In summer, there’s a lovely garden with outdoor tables — perfect for evening tea after a full day. The 8.0 rating is well-deserved: not perfect, but sincere and heartfelt. Котедж “Райський куточок” is a place where you understand why the Carpathians captivate you forever.
