The rooms are clean and comfortable, though they don’t pretend to be luxurious — exactly what you need after a full day in the fresh air. Windows face the mountains (at least in most rooms), and mornings reveal incredible views of snow-capped peaks. Sound insulation is decent, though sometimes you can hear someone getting ready for an early morning climb — but this adds to the mountain life charm rather than being bothersome. Summer is especially wonderful here: you can sit on the terrace with a cup of coffee admiring the green slopes, while winter turns the cottage into an ideal base for skiers and snowboarders.
