Cottage ‘Carolina’ with hot tub, sauna and BBQ area

Cottage ‘Carolina’ with hot tub, sauna and BBQ area turned out to be a real gem in Kosiv — if you’re looking for a place where you can truly relax with friends or family. This four-star cottage is located on Devdyuka Street, a bit away from the center, but that’s actually a plus — quiet, peaceful, and parking right by the house (which isn’t always obvious in mountain towns). The hosts greeted us very warmly, showed us everything down to the smallest details, and it was immediately clear that they care about their guests.

The cottage itself is spacious, with a nice kitchen where we made breakfasts, but the main highlight is, of course, the hot tub and sauna in the yard. After a whole day of hiking Carpathian trails, there’s nothing better than soaking in hot water under the starry sky (especially in autumn when evenings are already cool). The sauna works perfectly, firewood is provided, everything is well thought out. The BBQ area is also great — we grilled meat almost every evening, and the hosts even gave us tips on where to buy the best sausages in town. The only thing — if you’re going in winter, keep in mind that using the hot tub is a bit more extreme, but that makes it even more interesting.

From the cottage to Kosiv center it’s about fifteen minutes on foot (or five by car), to the market — even closer. We went to Hoverla, to Yaremche, and overall cottage ‘Carolina’ with hot tub, sauna and BBQ area became the perfect base for exploring the region. Wi-Fi works decently, though on a mountain vacation that’s not so critical. The 8.0 rating is well deserved — this place is really worth returning to again, especially if you love active recreation with a comfortable end to the day.
