Котедж Гірський

Котедж Гірський turned out to be a real gem for our family trip to the Carpathians. Located on Svobody Street in Yaremche, this four-star hotel welcomed us with the cozy atmosphere of a mountain house and wonderful views of the surrounding peaks. The owners are very friendly — they greeted us personally, told us about all the interesting routes nearby, and even shared secret spots for the best photos. The rooms are spacious, clean, with wooden furniture and genuine mountain character, though it’s worth noting that the walls are quite thin (we heard neighbors early in the morning). Parking right at the entrance is a huge plus, especially after a long drive with heavy luggage.

The breakfasts here are truly homemade — not the typical hotel buffet, but delicious local cuisine dishes prepared by the hostess. Soft cottage cheese pancakes with mountain honey, aromatic scrambled eggs with homemade sausages, and of course, authentic Hutsul coffee became a pleasant start to each day. You can walk to the popular waterfalls in 15-20 minutes — we went early in the morning before the crowds of tourists arrived. In winter it’s especially magical here, but the road can be challenging (better to have winter tires). The staff is always ready to help with advice about excursions or call a taxi to the ski lift. For this price and with a rating of 8.0 — it’s an excellent choice for those seeking an authentic mountain vacation without unnecessary pretense.
