Look, I’ve stayed in a lot of places around Karpacz, but this LOTOS apartment honestly caught me off guard – and I mean that in the best way possible. When you’re walking up Nad Łomnicą street (it’s actually pretty quiet despite being close to everything), you might wonder if you’re in the right spot, but trust me, once you get to apartment 23, you’ll know why this place has a 9.7 rating.

The first thing that hits you is the view – I mean, they literally put Śnieżka in the name for a reason. You can see the peak from multiple windows, and honestly, I found myself just standing there with my morning coffee way longer than I planned. The sauna was what initially sold me on booking this place, and it didn’t disappoint. It’s not huge, but it’s perfectly sized for a couple or small family, and after a day of hiking or skiing (depending on when you visit), it’s exactly what your muscles are begging for. The air conditioning might seem like overkill in the mountains, but during those surprisingly warm summer days – and trust me, they happen – you’ll be grateful it’s there.

What really sets this place apart though is how everything just works. The kitchen actually has proper knives (you know how rare that is in rentals), there’s decent water pressure in the shower, and the Wi-Fi doesn’t cut out every five minutes. Small things, but they matter when you’re trying to relax. The location is sort of perfect too – you’re close enough to walk to the main tourist strips and restaurants, but far enough that you’re not dealing with crowds of people stumbling around at night. Parking was easier than I expected, which is saying something for this area. I stayed during peak season and still managed to find spots without too much hassle. The only thing I’d mention is that like most places in Karpacz, it can get a bit busy during Polish holidays, so just plan accordingly. But honestly, even with the seasonal crowds, this apartment feels like a genuine retreat. The owners clearly put thought into the details – good lighting, comfortable beds, and that view that never gets old, no matter how many times you look out the window.
