Overview
Look, I’ll be honest – when I first walked up to Kesletz House on Constantin Noica Street, I wasn’t expecting much from a 3-star place. But you know what? Sometimes the best discoveries are the ones that completely blindside you. This little gem sits in one of those quiet residential streets where actual Romanians live, not just tourists stumbling around with guidebooks.
The thing about staying here is that you’re getting the real Sibiu experience without paying those inflated Old Town prices. I mean, you’re literally a 10-minute walk from Piața Mare, but instead of hearing drunk tourists at 2 AM, you’ll wake up to the sound of locals heading to work and maybe some church bells in the distance. The owners – and this is where it gets good – actually live in the city and know their stuff. They’ll tell you which bakery has the best cozonac (it’s not the obvious touristy one) and when the Saturday market is worth your time versus when it’s just overpriced trinkets.
The rooms themselves are clean and comfortable, nothing fancy but everything works properly – which honestly puts it ahead of some “boutique” places I’ve stayed at. What really struck me was how quiet it gets at night. You’d think being on a street would mean traffic noise, but Constantin Noica is one of those streets that goes dead after dinner time. The WiFi actually works throughout the building (revolutionary concept, I know), and there’s usually parking available right outside or within a block. I stayed there in September when the weather was perfect for walking around, and the location meant I could easily duck back for an afternoon nap without feeling like I was missing out on prime sightseeing time. The fact that this place has a 9.5 rating isn’t some fluke – it’s because they’ve figured out that travelers want a clean, quiet base where the staff knows what they’re doing, not some Instagram-worthy lobby where you pay extra for the privilege of being ignored. If you’re planning to actually explore Sibiu rather than just take selfies in the main square, Kesletz House is exactly the kind of place you’ll appreciate coming back to at the end of a long day.

Nice room in a beautiful villa. Tea kettle, filtered water, coffee machine and drinks provided in the common area. Access by code. Very good communication with the host. Really nice and quiet area, close to the old town.
The location is great. The street is very impressive with all these beautiful houses. It is very close to the center and parking is available in front of the building.
The house is beautiful and was very nicely decorated for winter holidays.
I like how the bathroom has also a dim light.
The apartment is stylish and conveniently located. The facilities are great. The host is very responsive and helpful. Drinking water, soft drinks and beer are available at no extra cost. Highly recommend.
Multiple apartments into one old house. Entrance is with received code from owner (no key needed). Common space is with vintage furniture, have many books (can enjoy reading), coffe machine, cold & hot water, posibility to do tea, have a fridge. City paid parking in front of the house, free parking on near street if you find space. 10 mins walk to Historical center. Owner shared some places were you can chose to eat/drink. Private bathroom with shower. Very friendly.
Our stay at this apartment was excellent. It is on a tree lined street with beautiful old mansions. It is blocks away from the plaza and is in the heart of a busy neighborhood. The apartment was comfortable and spacious. The complex has a common area with a coffee machine, water, refrigerator, and lots of books. Sibiu was my favorite Romanian city and I would definitely book the Kesletz House again.
We enjoyed the style of room, the nice comforting colors, the whole setting. A quiet place, and a remarkable oak of which presence you almost could feel in the ambience of the room. Location is I would say ideal and the parking place suitable in the front of the house. Interaction with the host, flawless!
Excellent location, good facilities, very safe, nice surroundings.
The room was as large as I prefer, and the bathroom was as well.
Near to the center and clean. It was easy to interact with the host members, they were polite and nice.
Nice room with bathroom and lounge with sofa bed for our son. Also a large balcony with table and chairs. Quiet area 10 minutes walk from the center. No 3 bus from the train station drops you outside. Self check in was easy and nice touches including communal fridges, a welcome drink and a very good coffee machine.
