Карпатський Двір turned out to be a real gem in Tukholʼka — this three-star hotel exceeded my expectations with its homey atmosphere and attention to detail. Located on Shevchenko Street, it occupies a cozy corner where you can truly escape from the city hustle. Check-in was quick (staff speaks Ukrainian and English), and the owner even told us about the best routes around the area — his advice turned out to be worth its weight in gold.
The rooms here are simple but very clean and functional, with everything needed for a comfortable stay. I especially liked that the windows face a quiet courtyard (no noise at night!), and the bed linens are always fresh and smell pleasant. WiFi works stably even on the second floor, which is important for those who can’t completely disconnect from work. Parking is free right next to the hotel — a big advantage, especially in summer when there are many tourists.
Breakfast is served in a small hall with panoramic windows, and although the selection isn’t huge, everything is very tasty and homemade — I especially recommend trying the local cheeses and casserole. The hosts at Карпатський Двір truly care about their guests: they’ll always tell you where to eat dinner, how to get to the nearest attractions, and can even arrange transportation (for a small fee). This hotel fully deserves its eight out of ten rating — it’s the perfect place for those seeking coziness and authenticity rather than luxurious spa treatments.
