HOTEL OVERVIEW

You know what struck me first about Karpacz wczasy? It’s tucked away on Przemysłowa Street, which honestly sounds way more industrial than it actually is. I mean, you’re still right in the heart of Karpacz, but there’s this nice quiet feeling once you step inside – like you’ve found one of those places that locals have been keeping to themselves. The building itself has that solid, no-nonsense Polish mountain architecture that just feels right in this part of the Sudetes. Nothing flashy, but everything you need.

What really won me over was how the staff actually seemed to know the area. Not just the obvious tourist spots everyone hits – sure, they’ll tell you about Śnieżka and the cable car – but they pointed me toward this little trail that starts practically behind the hotel that most visitors completely miss. Takes you up through the forest where you can actually hear the silence, if that makes sense. The rooms are comfortable in that unpretentious way that lets you sleep properly after a day of hiking. I stayed in one facing the back, and honestly, the mountain air coming through the window at night was better than any air conditioning. Parking was straightforward too – none of that circling-the-block nonsense you get in some of these mountain towns.

Here’s the thing about this place that the 9.3 rating really captures: it’s not trying to be something it’s not. The breakfast spread won’t blow your mind, but it’s exactly what you want before heading out to tackle the trails – proper bread, local cheese, coffee that actually wakes you up. And the location, well, you’re close enough to walk to the main drag when you want that tourist bustle, but far enough away that you’re not dealing with the noise from all those late-night groups stumbling back from the bars. I actually found myself hanging around the common areas in the evenings, which isn’t usually my thing, but there was something genuinely relaxing about the whole atmosphere. If you’re planning a trip to Karpacz and want somewhere that feels more like staying with knowledgeable friends than just booking a room, this is your spot. Just don’t expect luxury resort vibes – expect something better: authenticity.

The place is big and clean. The staff is friendly. A good, clean kitchen has everything you need.
The balcony has a beautiful view, and a big grocery shop is not far from the apartment. The owner is friendly and easy to contact.

What could be improved: The Duplex apartment is on the last (fourth) floor, without an elevator. It's critical when you have heavy things. Parking in the garage is guaranteed for one car only. The parking outside of the building is organized by numbers, but the order is not clear. In case somebody took your parking lot, you have to take the place of somebody else. The apartment has two, not three bedrooms. The bedrooms are on the second floor and one bed in the hall between these bedrooms. Because of the rooms under the roof, it's very hot on summer days. Because of the rooms under the roof, you couldn't stand near the bed, you have to bend before you go to lie down and You have to be careful, not to hit your head. There is no picture of the second bedroom on the Booking site.
