The location is actually pretty clever once you figure it out. Sure, you’re a fifteen-minute walk from the main tourist strip with all the restaurants and souvenir shops, but that means you’re also away from the summer crowds and those groups of German tourists who seem to start their day at 6 AM. Parking was straightforward too, which anyone who’s driven through Karpacz during peak season will tell you is no small thing. I stayed here in late September, and while the weather was already getting crisp, the whole area felt more authentic without the peak summer rush. The mountains were still accessible, the trails less crowded, and honestly, watching the autumn colors creep up the slopes from my room window was worth the slightly basic accommodations. If you’re the type who needs a spa and room service, this probably isn’t your spot.
