Look, I’ll be honest – when I first heard about Karkonoski Glamping tucked away in Czarny Strumień, I wasn’t sure what to expect. The whole glamping thing can be hit or miss, you know? But this place actually gets it right. You’re basically camping in the Polish mountains without having to deal with setting up your own tent or wondering if that rustling outside is a bear (it’s probably not, but still). The location is pretty incredible – you’re right in the heart of the Karkonosze range, and I mean actually in it, not just looking at it from some highway hotel.

What struck me most was how they’ve managed to keep that authentic mountain vibe while giving you actual comfort. The accommodations are these well-designed pods or cabins that don’t look like they were dropped there yesterday – they blend into the landscape in a way that feels intentional. You’ll wake up to the sound of the stream that gives the area its name, and honestly, it beats any alarm clock I’ve ever used. The staff clearly knows the region well, which makes a huge difference when you’re trying to figure out hiking routes or where to grab supplies. Speaking of hiking – you’re perfectly positioned for the serious mountain trails, but also close enough to Karpacz if you need to stock up on gear or want a proper meal in town.

The 8.7 rating makes sense once you’ve been there. It’s not trying to be some luxury resort, and that’s exactly why it works. The whole experience feels genuine rather than manufactured, which is rare these days. Sure, you might hear other guests if they’re being loud (thin walls are just part of the glamping territory), and the weather up there can change fast – but that’s part of what makes it feel like a real mountain experience. I’d definitely go back, especially in late spring when the trails are clear but the summer crowds haven’t arrived yet. If you’re looking for that sweet spot between roughing it and actually being comfortable, this place nails it.
