Just got back from HVOYA Apart-Hotel & SPA, and I can say it’s really a nice place for a mountain getaway. This three-star hotel is located right in the heart of Bukovel resort, so it’s literally a five-minute walk to the ski lifts. Parking is free, which is very nice, especially in winter when all spots are worth their weight in gold. Check-in went smoothly — the staff is friendly and speaks English, which is rare for our mountains.
The rooms are spacious, with a small kitchenette (there’s a microwave, kettle, fridge), which is very convenient after a long day on the slopes. Windows face either the mountains or the inner courtyard — I had one with a Bukovel view, especially beautiful in the morning when the sun illuminates the peaks. Wi-Fi works stable, even in the SPA area. Speaking of SPA — the sauna is small, but after a ski day it’s just what you need. There’s no pool, but there is a jacuzzi.
Breakfast is decent, though the selection isn’t very large — standard continental plus a few Ukrainian dishes. The restaurant works until 10 PM, menu is average-priced for the resort. What pleasantly surprised me — the hotel is quite quiet even during high season, you can mainly hear kids in the hallways in the morning (but that’s everywhere). The only downside — hot water sometimes runs out in the evening when everyone returns from the mountains, but this gets resolved quickly. Overall I recommend it, especially if you’re traveling with a group — there are rooms for 4-6 people.
