When I was looking for a place for a winter vacation in the Carpathians, Хуторянка in Tatariv immediately caught my attention with its homey atmosphere. This four-star hotel really lived up to expectations — located on Hirska Street, it’s literally just a few minutes’ walk from the Bukovel lifts. The staff turned out to be very friendly, and check-in went smoothly (even when we arrived late in the evening after a long drive from Kyiv).
What I especially liked was the authentic Carpathian character combined with modern comfort. The rooms are cozy with nice mountain views, and the breakfasts are quite hearty — exactly what you need before a full day on the slopes. Parking is free, which isn’t always the case in Tatariv, especially during the season. The only thing to note — the hotel is quite popular with families with children, so it can get a bit noisy in summer, but in winter you hardly notice it. Overall, for the price-quality ratio, Хуторянка is an excellent choice for those who want to relax comfortably in the mountains without overpaying for unnecessary luxury.
Travelers should book a hotel in Bukovel at least two months ahead for major events such as ski competitions and mountain festivals, ensuring the best rates and prime locations near popular mountain attractions.
