House Menchul Overview
House Menchul is a cozy three-star guesthouse in the village of Mala Uhol’ka that became a real discovery for me during my Carpathian journey. Located on Tsentralna Street, the hotel is surrounded by picturesque Carpathian landscapes, and from the doorstep you feel that special atmosphere of mountain tranquility. The hosts are very welcoming — they greeted me with homemade pie and told me about the best routes around the area. Parking is free right by the house, which is convenient, especially if you’re driving through the mountain serpentines.
The rooms are simple but clean and cozy — everything necessary for a comfortable stay is there. I especially liked the handmade wooden furniture and authentic Carpathian rugs on the walls. In the morning you wake up to birdsong, not traffic noise — it’s incredibly relaxing after city hustle. Wi-Fi works stably (checked several times for work), hot water is always available. Breakfasts are homemade with local products — I particularly remember the honey from their own beehives and fresh sour cream.
House Menchul is perfect for those seeking an authentic Carpathian experience without unnecessary pretension. The 8.0 rating is well-deserved — don’t expect big city hotel service here, but you’ll get something much more valuable: genuine Carpathian hospitality and the chance to enjoy nature. In summer you can organize hikes to waterfalls (the hosts will help with routes), and in winter — enjoy snow-covered landscapes from your warm room. I’ll definitely return here again, perhaps for a longer stay.

Отличные апартаменты. Две комнаты и кухня. Все чистое и свежее. Есть холодильник, плита, чайник и набор посуды. Ванная комната также свежая и чистая. В одной из комнат есть открытый балкон, где можно работать наблюдая за природой. Что немаловажно на балконе есть розетка. Территория приятная, есть мангал, качеля и беседка. Хозяйка очень радушная 🤗
