You know what? I wasn’t expecting much from Hotel Vivaldi when I first pulled up to Olimpijska 4 – honestly, the street looked pretty quiet and I was wondering if I’d made the right choice. But walking into the lobby, there’s this immediate sense that someone actually cares about this place. It’s not flashy or trying too hard, just clean lines and that particular European attention to detail that you notice right away. The staff at check-in spoke decent English (always a relief in smaller Polish towns) and actually knew their stuff about Karpacz, which I mean, sounds obvious but you’d be surprised how often that’s not the case.
What really won me over was how they’ve positioned themselves in the town – you’re literally a five-minute walk from the main drag where all the restaurants are, but far enough off the tourist path that you’re not dealing with groups of hikers tramping through the lobby at 6 AM. The rooms are honestly better than what you’d expect from a 3-star place; mine had this great mountain view that I kept finding myself staring at while drinking my morning coffee. The bed was actually comfortable (not always a given in Central Europe, let’s be real), and the bathroom had proper water pressure – small things that matter when you’ve been hiking in the Karkonosze all day. I will say the walls are a bit thin, so if you’re a light sleeper, maybe pack earplugs, but it wasn’t terrible.
The breakfast surprised me too – not just the usual continental spread but some local touches that showed they’re thinking about what travelers actually want. Plus, parking was included and easy, which if you’ve ever tried to find a spot in the center of Karpacz during ski season, you’ll appreciate. The whole vibe is just… comfortable, I guess? Like staying at a friend’s well-run guesthouse rather than some corporate chain. For the price point and that 8.8 rating, I get it – it’s the kind of place where everything works without any drama, the location gives you options without the chaos, and you leave thinking “yeah, I’d definitely stay here again.” Sometimes that’s exactly what you need.

Breakfast was amazing! The hotel has a good location, and there are a few restaurants within 2-3 mins walking distance. Our room was clean and quiet.
What could be improved: Parking is limited and it was a challenge to find a spot for a car. The main reason for that is parking slot borders are not marked anyhow, so guests are parking as they can.

I have stayed at this hotel multiple times while visiting Karpacz. Easy access to the lifts and trails. Close by places for dining. Easy walk to the shopping area of town.
What could be improved: The weather. Not the Hotels fault but a storm came through, causing us to end our trip early.

Staff very friendly and helpful. We were a group of 3 couples on motorbikes. The manager gave us a garage to park in and was very friendly and accommodating.

Location is good. Hotel located near entrance of Karkonosze national park, view from hotel are also good. Nearvy you can find few good places to eat. Parking space is big, but on holidays and weekends it may be hard to find empty parking lot.
What could be improved: We have been looking for hotel room with bath. Booking told us that last available room has bath, but those room was with shower only.
Soundproof is bad, you can hear every sound from hall and near rooms. There were no bathrobes in our room, however there is pool zone in hotel.
Breakfast is tasty, but often there were no base products. For example, at our first breakfast eggs there were no eggs for 10 minutes.

Das Frühstück bietet fuer jeden etwas. Auswahl ist reichlich, Kaffee schmeckt gut, viele Teesorten, Käse, Quark, Joghurt, Aufschnitt, Obst, Kuchen und mehr und alles frisch und gut. Wir empfehlen auch das Hotelrestaurant! Unser Zimmer war gross, die Betten bequem, das Badezimmer gross. Wir konnten das Auto direkt vor dem Hotel parken, was fuer uns wichtig war. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, kompetent und hilfsbereit.
