Look, I’ll be honest – when I first pulled up to Hotel Promyk on Obrońców Pokoju, I wasn’t expecting much from a 3-star place. But you know what? Sometimes the ratings don’t tell the whole story, and this little gem in Karpacz is one of those pleasant surprises that makes you want to keep it secret (though obviously I’m telling you about it now).
The thing about Promyk is that it gets the fundamentals so right. The wellness center isn’t some tiny afterthought – it’s actually the real deal, which makes sense because honestly, after a day hiking in the Karkonosze mountains, your legs are going to thank you for those spa facilities. I mean, Karpacz can be pretty intense if you’re doing the serious trails up to Śnieżka, and coming back to a proper sauna and massage setup? That’s the kind of planning that shows they understand their guests. The staff seems to genuinely care too – not in that overly rehearsed way you get at chain hotels, but more like they’re actually proud of the place. Check-in was smooth, parking was easy (which isn’t always a given in this part of town), and the rooms are clean and comfortable without trying too hard to be fancy.
What really struck me is how they’ve positioned themselves perfectly for exploring the area. You’re close enough to the main drag with all the tourist stuff, but far enough from the chaos that you can actually sleep at night – and trust me, during peak season Karpacz can get pretty lively. The breakfast setup is solid, nothing revolutionary but good quality local stuff that’ll fuel you for whatever mountain adventure you’re planning. I actually found myself looking forward to coming back each evening, which doesn’t always happen at hotels. The 9.4 rating makes complete sense once you’ve stayed there – it’s not trying to be something it’s not, but what it does, it does really well. If you’re the type who needs five-star luxury and marble everything, this probably isn’t your spot. But if you want a place that understands why people come to Karpacz and takes care of the details that actually matter to travelers, Promyk delivers in a way that’ll have you recommending it to friends.

Excellent location, impeccably clean rooms, great breakfast, very friendly staff and most important: AMAZING spa which I recommend to everyone (please let the staff know in advance that you want to use it). Will definitely be back and recommend this place to all our friends.
What could be improved: We liked everything, but it would be nice to have a small fridge in the room:

Cozy and clean room, looks like recently renovated. The crew speaks only basic english, but we got all the necessary information we needed. The centre of the town is about 10-15 minutes walk away.
Plenty of breakfast, even when there are so few guests, that only continental breakfast is served. You still get everything, maybe more than enough.
What could be improved: Our room was next to the street lighting and with the curtains, we couldn't make dark in the room. There were no dustbin in the room, but it was still fine.

The location. Quiet, calm, and stunning location. The stream just outside the window with sounds of water. The view, to the Kopa and Śnieżka moiuntains. Rooms are exactly as should be- clean and comfortable). Excellent, rich and tasty breakfast, with a lot of variety between meet, diary, eggs, kinds of bread, cold or warm. The best coffee I have tried for breakfast (at least in Karpacz).
What could be improved: There is nothing to be left here. Sauna was not on, but fully my fault, didn't noticed need to announce a day in advance. Nothing, literally nothing I would change, correct or improve.

The room was nice, excellent location with river by the hotel. The spa was also quite nice and so was breakfast.
What could be improved: Staff spoke no English although they were extremely helpful and nice. No lift. Lack of electric sockets and toilet had hair in it on checking in. It could have been cleaned better. No elevator.

A gyönyörű környezet nyugalmat árasztott. A személyzet nagyon barátságos volt. A reggeli finom és sokféle. A júniusban jött hidegebb időben fűtöttek, ami nagyon jól esettt.
What could be improved: Furcsa, hogy a személyzet nem tud angolul vagy németül. De van a telefonon fordító app.
