Hotel Podgorie Spa turned out to be a pleasant discovery during our trip to Bukovel last winter. This three-star hotel is located a bit away from the main hustle and bustle of the resort, which actually became a big plus — quiet at night, but still close to the lifts (about 10 minutes walk through the forest, very scenic). The rooms are quite spacious with nice mountain views, although the furniture is a bit dated — but it’s not critical. The breakfasts are tasty, especially loved the cheese pancakes and homemade sausage. The staff is friendly, at reception they’ll always suggest where it’s better to ski depending on the weather.
What impressed me most was the spa center — after a whole day on the slopes, the sauna and pool became a real salvation for sore muscles. The pool water is always warm, the jacuzzi works properly. Parking is free right at the hotel, which is very convenient if you’re driving (we drove our own car from Kyiv). In winter, the road to the hotel is well-cleared, no problems at all. Wi-Fi works stably even in the rooms, which is important for those who can’t completely disconnect from work.
Overall, Hotel Podgorie Spa is a good option for the money, especially if you value peace and don’t want to overpay for extra luxury. The hotel is simple but cozy, with everything necessary for a comfortable vacation. We’ll definitely come back here again, maybe even in summer — curious to see what it’s like here in the warm season.
Bukovel hotels range from luxurious mountain resorts to cozy lodges with breathtaking views of snow-capped peaks and alpine meadows.
