Hotel Paryski Art & Business Zakopane – Basen Jacuzzi Sauna Małpi Gaj
You know what struck me first about Hotel Paryski? The name itself tells you everything – it’s sitting right on Paryskich street, named after the very people who probably had the vision for this kind of place in Zakopane. And honestly, after spending time here, I get why it’s pulling those 9-star ratings. The location is pretty much perfect if you want to actually experience Zakopane rather than just pass through it. You’re close enough to the main Krupówki pedestrian zone that you can walk there without breaking a sweat, but far enough away that you’re not dealing with the weekend party crowds stumbling around at 2 AM.
What really sets this place apart though is how they’ve nailed the whole “art and business” concept without making it feel forced or pretentious. The lobby has this interesting mix of contemporary Polish art and mountain lodge vibes – I mean, you’re in the Tatras, so there’s no escaping that cozy wooden aesthetic, but they’ve done it thoughtfully. The business facilities actually work (rare in mountain hotels, trust me), and the meeting spaces have these huge windows looking out toward Giewont peak. But here’s the thing everyone talks about – that pool, jacuzzi, and sauna setup they mention in the name. It’s not just marketing fluff. After a day hiking or skiing, sinking into that jacuzzi while snow is potentially falling outside… well, it’s pretty much exactly what you came to Zakopane for. The sauna runs hot and proper, none of that lukewarm nonsense you sometimes get at resort hotels.
The staff seems to actually know the area – they’ll tell you which trails are worth your time depending on your fitness level, or where to get the best oscypek cheese (hint: not on Krupówki street). Parking isn’t a nightmare here either, which matters more than you’d think in Zakopane where some places just assume you’ll figure it out yourself. The rooms are solid four-star standard – nothing that’ll blow your mind, but everything works, they’re quiet at night, and honestly the mountain views from the upper floors make up for any minor quibbles. I’d definitely come back, especially in winter when you can hit the slopes and then decompress in that spa area. It’s the kind of place that gets Zakopane right – respecting the mountain setting without trying too hard to be rustic, and giving you the amenities you actually want after a day in the Tatras.
