There’s a decent little market within walking distance where locals do their shopping, and the whole area has this relaxed pace that’s perfect if you’re trying to decompress from busy city touring. The hotel’s 8.7 rating makes total sense to me because it delivers on the basics really well without any pretense. I’ve stayed at fancier places that left me more frustrated than this did. It’s the kind of spot where you sleep well, the wifi works when you need it, and nobody’s trying to upsell you on overpriced breakfast or spa treatments.
