There’s parking right there (no small thing in Predeal), and the breakfast – well, it’s not going to win awards, but it’s honest Romanian fare with good coffee and enough fuel to get you up the mountain. The family running it clearly takes pride in maintaining the place; I noticed fresh flowers in the lobby and hallways that actually looked like someone cared, not just hotel decoration duty. That 9.6 rating isn’t an accident – it’s the kind of score you get when you focus on doing the fundamentals really well instead of trying to be something you’re not. If you’re looking for a spa resort, keep looking. But if you want a genuinely comfortable base for exploring the Bucegi Mountains where you’ll sleep well and wake up ready for adventure, Hotel Dragului gets it right.
