What really sold me was how walkable everything is from here. You can reach the old town center in about 15 minutes on foot, and there’s a decent grocery store just a couple blocks away where you can grab essentials without paying tourist prices. The elevator works fine, by the way – I mean, it’s not fancy, but it gets you up to the 8th floor without drama.

Inside the apartment, it’s clear someone actually thought about what travelers need. The kitchen has proper cookware (not just random mismatched pots), there’s decent WiFi that doesn’t cut out every five minutes, and honestly, the view surprised me. From up there, you get these nice glimpses of the surrounding hills, especially if you catch the light just right in the evening. The whole place feels lived-in rather than sterile – comfortable furniture that doesn’t look like it came from a hotel supply catalog, good water pressure in the shower, and enough space to actually unpack your stuff instead of living out of a suitcase. I stayed during shoulder season in early October, and the heating worked perfectly when the nights got chilly.
