Just returned from Hercules in Truskavets and have to share my impressions! This three-star hotel pleasantly surprised me with its cozy atmosphere and attentive staff. Located on Lesi Ukrainky Street, it’s in a quiet area — in the morning you’ll be woken up by birdsong rather than traffic noise. Parking is right at the hotel (free!), which is very convenient if you’re driving your own car. Check-in went smoothly, even though we arrived a bit earlier than the official time — the reception staff accommodated us without any problems.
The rooms at Hercules are simple but clean and functional. We had a room overlooking the inner courtyard — quiet and peaceful. The plumbing worked without complaints, hot water was always available, and the air conditioning handled its duties well (though in July it had to work at full capacity). The reception staff is always ready to help with advice about excursions or the best places for walks in Truskavets — they gave us a detailed map and told us where to find the most delicious bograch in the city. Breakfasts are fairly standard — porridge, omelets, cold cuts, coffee isn’t the greatest, but quite edible.
What I especially liked was being close to the resort center (15 minutes walk to the pump room) while still being away from the noisy streets. In the evenings you can peacefully relax after a day spent walking around the city. For the money, this is a wonderful option for those looking for simple, clean accommodation without unnecessary pretensions. I would return here again, especially in autumn — they say Truskavets is particularly beautiful then because of the golden foliage in the parks.
