It’s actually tucked away on this quiet side road – Droga do Tadziaków – which honestly sounds intimidating if you don’t speak Polish, but it’s basically just the path that leads toward the Tatra foothills. I mean, you’re literally staying “under Giewont” like the name says, and when you step outside in the morning, that iconic sleeping knight silhouette is right there dominating the skyline. The apartments themselves have this mountain lodge vibe without being too rustic – think modern comfort but with enough wooden touches that you remember you’re in Zakopane, not some generic hotel chain.

The spa part is where this place really shines, and I’m saying this as someone who’s usually skeptical about hotel spas. After spending the day hiking around Morskie Oko or getting your legs destroyed on the Giewont trail, sinking into their facilities feels like exactly what your body ordered. The location works in your favor here because you’re close enough to walk into Zakopane’s center (though it’s a bit of a trek with shopping bags), but far enough out that you’re not dealing with the Krupówki chaos every time you want some peace. Parking was surprisingly easy – which, if you’ve driven around central Zakopane in summer, you’ll appreciate that small miracle.

What I really liked is how the staff actually knows the area. They’re not just reading from some generic script about “nearby attractions” – they’ll tell you which trails are muddy after rain, or that the morning light hits Giewont perfectly from their terrace around 7 AM. The apartments are spacious enough that you’re not living on top of each other, and honestly, for a 3-star place, the quality surprised me. Sure, it’s not luxury, but everything works properly and the beds are actually comfortable (I’ve stayed in 4-star places in the Tatras where I couldn’t say that). The whole setup makes sense for couples doing the romantic mountain getaway thing, or families who want some space to spread out after long days outdoors. Winter would be gorgeous here too – you’re positioned perfectly for the ski areas, and I bet those mountain views look incredible with snow cover.
