I especially loved that the windows face the mountains — the morning view is simply incredible, especially in autumn when the leaves are changing colors.

Breakfasts here are homemade and very hearty — borscht, cheese pancakes, homemade sausage. The hostess Oksana always asks if you like everything and can tell you about the best hiking routes in the Carpathians. Parking is free (though there aren’t many spots, so it’s better to give them a heads up if you’re coming by car). Check-in is usually after 2 PM, but if you arrive earlier, they won’t leave you standing outside with your luggage — there’s a small waiting room with tea and cookies. The only downside is that the walls are quite thin, so if your neighbors are noisy, you can hear conversations. But usually quiet tourists or families with kids stay here.

In winter it’s especially cozy — there’s a fireplace working in the common room, and in summer you can use the small terrace overlooking the forest. It’s about 15 km to the Bukovel ski lifts, and you can walk to Probiy waterfall in half an hour. For the money (especially compared to hotels in central Bukovel) this is a wonderful option for those who value a homey atmosphere over fancy service.

Travelers should book a hotel in Bukovel at least two months ahead for major events such as ski competitions and mountain festivals, ensuring the best rates and prime locations near popular mountain attractions.
