Guest House Pisnya Karpat is a real gem for those looking for a cozy place in the heart of the Carpathians. When I arrived here last autumn, I immediately understood this wasn’t your typical three-star hotel. Located on Sechevykh Streltsov Street, the guest house truly lives up to its name — you really feel the “song of the Carpathians” here. The owners have created an incredibly homey atmosphere where every guest feels like family. Parking is free right next to the building, which is very convenient, especially when you arrive with a trunk full of hiking gear.

The rooms are simple but very clean and comfortable — everything you need for resting after long mountain hikes. The owners are always ready to recommend the best trails, tell you about local attractions, and the owner’s wife cooks incredible breakfasts with local products. I especially remember the homemade pancakes with walnut jam — absolutely heavenly! In the evenings, you can sit on the terrace overlooking the mountains, listen to the silence (such a rarity these days) and truly feel like part of nature.

The only downside — it can get a bit chilly in the rooms during winter, but the hosts always provide extra blankets, and this actually adds to the authenticity. For this price and with this kind of service — it’s a real pearl. I’ll definitely return here next time I’m in these parts. The 8.0 rating is well deserved, maybe even slightly underrated.
