The rooms are solid for a 4-star place, and I was pleasantly surprised by how quiet it stays even when full. They do proper oscypek cheese, and the coffee is actually drinkable, which honestly can make or break your morning when you’re planning a day in the mountains. You’re maybe a 15-minute walk to the center, but you’re also positioned perfectly for heading toward Gubałówka or catching transport to the cable cars without dealing with downtown traffic. Parking isn’t a nightmare either, which anyone who’s driven in Zakopane during summer or ski season will tell you is worth its weight in gold. I stayed there in September – perfect timing actually, when the crowds thin out but the weather’s still great for hiking – and the whole experience just felt… well, like staying somewhere locals might actually recommend rather than just another tourist trap.
