Overview
You know what? I wasn’t expecting much when I first pulled up to Green Apartments on Sarnia street – honestly, the name sounds pretty generic, right? But this place actually surprised me in the best way possible. It’s tucked into this quiet residential stretch in Karpacz, and I mean quiet in a good way, not like you’re miles from everything. You’re basically a short walk from the main drag where all the restaurants and shops are, but far enough that you won’t hear groups of tourists stumbling back from dinner at midnight.
The apartment setup is what really sold me on this place. I’ve stayed in plenty of hotels where you feel like you’re living in a shoebox, but here you actually get space to breathe – and a proper kitchen, which honestly saved me a fortune since eating out in Karpacz every meal can add up fast. The owner clearly put thought into the little things too. There’s decent water pressure (I know, I know, but you miss it when it’s gone), the WiFi actually works throughout the whole unit, and the beds are firm enough that you won’t wake up feeling like you slept on a marshmallow. What I really appreciated was how quiet it stays at night – the windows block out most of the street noise, and since it’s more of a local neighborhood, there isn’t much noise to begin with.
Location-wise, you’re perfectly positioned for exploring the Karkonosze mountains without being right in the tourist chaos. I could walk to the Kopa cable car in about fifteen minutes, maybe twenty if I stopped for coffee first. The grocery store is practically around the corner, which was clutch for grabbing breakfast stuff and snacks for hiking. Parking was never an issue either – there’s space right there, no circling the block hoping someone leaves. I stayed there during shoulder season in late spring, and honestly, I think that’s the sweet spot. The weather was perfect for hiking, prices weren’t peak summer crazy, and the whole area felt relaxed rather than packed. The 8.8 rating makes total sense to me – it’s not trying to be some luxury resort, but it nails everything you actually need for a comfortable stay in the mountains. If you’re looking for a place that feels more like borrowing a friend’s apartment than staying in a hotel, and you want to be close to great hiking without the tourist trap pricing, this is your spot.

Clean and rather new apartment. Hot water in radiator so we could heat apartment in minutes. Hot water available in water tap and under shower. Underground swimming pools great, for little ones (2yo) and for medium (8yo) children and third for adults.
Apartment was 150-200 meters away from main hotel building but there is Albero restaurant near with very good italian restaurant offer and drinks, also good pricing.
Great breakfast, it did not matter if we were eating on ground floor or the second floor, as someone did suggest in comment. Because of that comment, we were afraid a little bit when they've sent us to the second floor on the third day, but unnecessarily.
What could be improved: Lack of wardrobes, shelves etc. in apartment and bathroom. Whole apartment and only one small wardrobe for four people? And absolutely nothing in bathroom, small space aside bathroom sink.
Seems that someone before us tried to open wooden box under bathroom sink cause it was screwed tightly ;)
Lack of floor mop - would be nice when you leave a lot of snow on entrace and it melts, doormats won't clean it all so theres a lot of water. I dont want to use towels for that but on the other hand if you stand there you will get your socks wet ;)
One door card on start, I havent noticed and I had to request second. Maybe minor problem but I always get two cards on start.

Parking - well, I've missed information about paid parking so it is my fault but it is strange. I paid 40pln for unattended parking lot, but there is same fee for guarded parking. And what is more important, there is no guarantee on parking place. There is information on hotel page about reservation needed for parkong spot. But I did not reserve any, on arrival I was asked if I want to park, I paid for whole stay and I was informed that I can park "where I want". So first three days it was ok, on fourth day I wasn't able to find any free spot around my apaartment building, and I had to park 3 blocks away, and it was like one of 5 spots left. So probably at some point I would not find any place to park.

This beautiful resort and was impressed. The property offers all the amenities for a comfortable stay. Although there's no air conditioning in the apartment and it's a 30-minute walk to the city center, these were minor issues.
Everything was spotless and looked new. The staff were friendly and welcoming.
Highly recommend and will definitely return!

The apartment was spacious and clean and have separated living room and kitchen from bedroom - which was a key thing for considering vacation with small child. Also the location is quite not close to any bar or some noisy place.
There is spa/swimming pools suitable for small children. 3 whirlpools were great not overcrowded.
Delicious breakfast great choice of things to eat, fruits and vegetables are fresh.
Sauna in the apartment directly.
We like the surroundings.
What could be improved: Even though the hotel was on quite place, sometimes it was a bit noisy:
* Not working apartment door lockers were beeping around 10 o'clock evening -> but the people with problematic lockers should call hotel service.
* The stairs outside were for some reason making a lot of noise - probably metal railing.
The equipment of the kitchen was not sufficient, only one big knife for everything. I know that it is more of the emergency kitchen to heat meal for our kid, but still would be nice to check sufficient amount of equipment.
Sauna - I would double check the electricity solution of led backlights in the backrest. They stopped working in the middle of my session and the backrest was moving to the sides. I found out that the cable gets disconnected from the wago clamp. Other than that sauna was great bit small, but we enjoyed it. But would be great to have solution that will keep backrest without moving.
Language skills of some of the personal. I must say that they were very kind and trying to help, but sometimes we need to write numbers on paper and struggling with even basic English (numbers, simple sentences).

Great food, nice content for kids, swimming pool warm and clean
What could be improved: Wifi does not work properly and all the time, often no signal.
Sweets could be better at lunch, basically 4 cookies were repeating for entire week.
Seems ridiculous that they charge parking at such remote place...

1. Spa & wellness facilities
They are well organized. Sauna area is separated to swimming pool.
And, there is safety guard next to children pool.
2. Location
Hotel is located at the end of village area. So atmosphere is quite calm & peaceful.
3. Parking
Hotel has lots of parking spaced. No worry to bring your car.
What could be improved: 1. Check-in time
From 4p.m, you can do check-in. So it's quite late on mountain area. Because it is already dark outside.
2. Spa & wellness facilities
They are under only main building. If your room is in other building, you have to walk with normal clothes.
This is quite strange system, and makes you feel uncomfortable.
It should be opened earlier, not from 09:00a.m.
3. Room condition
Blackout curtain cannot cover all window, so some part can be covered by thin curtain.
Additionally, smart TV cannot be connected with I-phone to play Netflix. (Hope I didn't know how to connect..)
4. Breakfast
All fruits are great, but foods variety & taste are just normal.

Everything was perfect- location, staff, breakfast, dinner, swimming pools, playground and animation for kids
What could be improved: I am not sure if it is ok if you have to pay extra fee for parking in five star hotel. But it is the only small minus we found.
