Готельний комплекс Парламент, Яблуниця turned out to be a pleasant surprise during our trip to the Carpathians. Located in the picturesque Urochyshche Gorishkiv, this four-star hotel really feels like a mountain retreat — you wake up to birdsong in the morning instead of city noise. The staff here is very friendly, though sometimes you have to wait a bit at reception (especially in the evening when all the tourists return from their hikes). Parking is free and spacious, which is important if you’re driving your own car — many people do since public transport here isn’t very regular.

The rooms are quite comfortable, with wonderful mountain views through large windows. Wi-Fi works stably even on the upper floors, which was a pleasant surprise for such a remote location. The restaurant serves delicious homemade cuisine — I especially recommend trying their banosh and trout (probably local). True, the menu isn’t very diverse, but everything we ordered was fresh and tasty. There’s a small spa area with a sauna that comes in handy after a full day in the fresh air — just better to book in advance, especially on weekends.

In winter it’s probably a completely different atmosphere here (we saw photos with snow — looks magical), but in autumn when we were there, everything around was blazing with yellow-red colors. It’s about fifteen minutes on foot to the nearest hiking trails, and there are several interesting waterfalls nearby. The only downside — mobile reception is a bit weak, but for a digital detox that’s actually a plus. Overall, for the money this hotel is definitely worth visiting, especially if you’re looking for a quiet place away from the urban hustle.
