Hotel Tustan turned out to be a pleasant discovery during my trip to Skhidnitsa. Located on Zolota Banya street, this four-star hotel truly lives up to its 8.0 rating — and I understand why. The reception staff was incredibly friendly, check-in went smoothly (even when I arrived a bit earlier than planned), and the parking right by the hotel is a real blessing, especially in summer when Skhidnitsa is packed with tourists.
The room was spacious and clean, with a nice mountain view — exactly what you need after a whole day of wandering the surroundings. Sound insulation is quite decent, though you can sometimes hear children running in the hallway (which is actually normal for a family hotel). Breakfasts in the hotel restaurant are quite decent — nothing fancy, but tasty homemade food that gives you energy for the day. I especially enjoyed the cheese pancakes and homemade jam. WiFi works stably even in the room, which was important for me.
What I liked most was the location. It’s about a 10-minute leisurely walk to the center of Skhidnitsa, and even closer to the main springs. Hotel Tustan also organizes transfers to popular places (for an additional fee), which is convenient if you don’t have your own car. Overall, this is a place I would return to — especially in autumn, when there are fewer people here and nature is incredibly beautiful. The only downside — evenings can be a bit noisy due to proximity to the main road, but it’s not critical.
