Гостинний двір у Ангеліни turned out to be a pleasant surprise during our trip to the Carpathians. Located in Tatariv, this three-star hotel has a homey atmosphere that you rarely find in large chain establishments. The owners actually live here and are always ready to help — Angelina personally greeted us during check-in at eight in the evening (even though official check-in is until 6 PM). Parking is free right next to the building, which is very convenient, especially in winter when you need to unload ski equipment.
The rooms are simple but clean and cozy — you can feel that the hosts care about every detail. Hot water is always available, heating works well (tested in February!), and from the second-floor windows you can see the mountain slopes. Breakfasts are homemade — sausage, cheese, scrambled eggs, pancakes, and always borscht or soup. Portions are generous, you’ll be full for half the day. Wi-Fi works stably even in the rooms, which is rare for mountain areas. The only downside — the walls are a bit thin, so if neighbors are noisy, it can be audible (but we were lucky with quiet neighbors).
The location is perfect for active vacation lovers — it’s 15 minutes by car to the Bukovel lift, and in summer you can hike on trails directly from the hotel. The hosts know all the local routes and gladly share information about interesting places. Prices are very reasonable for the Carpathians, especially considering the personal approach and homemade cuisine. We’ll definitely come back here again — such genuine, soulful places are becoming increasingly rare.
Hotels in Bukovel offer convenient access to ski slopes, where guests can easily reach chairlifts, spa centers, and authentic Hutsul restaurants.
