,,GOSIA” POKOJE GOSCINNE de lux z mini aneksem i łazienką
Look, I’ll be honest – when I first saw the name “GOSIA” POKOJE GOSCINNE, I had no idea how to pronounce it, but after staying here in Karpacz, I’m just calling it Gosia’s place because that’s what it feels like. This isn’t your typical hotel situation – it’s more like staying at someone’s really well-appointed guest house, except they’ve actually thought through what travelers need. The mini kitchenette thing might sound gimmicky, but you know what? When you’re staying in the mountains and want to grab some local bread and cheese from the market without paying hotel restaurant prices, having a proper little setup makes all the difference.
The location on Wiosenna Street is actually pretty perfect if you know Karpacz at all. You’re close enough to walk to the main drag where all the restaurants and tourist stuff happens, but far enough up the hill that you’re not dealing with the weekend crowds stumbling around at night. I mean, parking can be a bit of a puzzle – like most places in this part of Poland, the streets weren’t exactly designed for modern tourism traffic – but there’s usually something workable nearby. What really got me was how quiet it gets at night; you can actually hear the forest, which sounds cheesy but honestly made me sleep better than I have in months.
The rooms themselves have this sort of Alpine-meets-modern-Polish thing going on that could’ve been weird but somehow works. Everything’s clean and well-maintained (the bathroom situation is solid, which matters more than people admit), and whoever runs this place clearly pays attention to details. The 8.8 rating makes sense to me – it’s not luxury resort territory, but it delivers on what it promises without trying to be something it’s not. I’d definitely come back, especially during the shoulder seasons when Karpacz isn’t completely overrun with hikers and families. If you’re looking for that boutique experience without the boutique attitude, and you want to actually experience this part of the Sudetes rather than just pass through, Gosia’s spot is worth booking.
