But this little spot on Żeromskiego street actually surprised me in the best way possible. You know what I mean when I say a place just feels right the moment you walk in? That’s exactly what happened here.

The location is honestly perfect if you’re the type who wants to be close to Zakopane’s action without being right in the middle of the tourist chaos. You’re literally a five-minute walk from Krupówki (that’s the main pedestrian street where everyone goes), but far enough away that you’re not hearing drunk tourists singing Polish folk songs at 2 AM. The apartment itself – well, it’s got that jacuzzi and sauna situation going on, and I have to say, after spending a day hiking in the Tatras, sinking into hot water while looking out at those mountain views hits different. The jacuzzi isn’t huge, maybe fits four people comfortably, but honestly that’s perfect for most situations.

What really sold me on this place though was all the little details that show someone actually thought about what travelers need. The parking is included (and trust me, finding parking in Zakopane during peak season is like winning the lottery), the kitchen has everything you’d actually use, and – this might sound weird but hear me out – the shower pressure is incredible. I mean, you’d be amazed how many mountain hotels have water pressure that feels like a gentle mist. The sauna gets properly hot too, not like those half-hearted hotel saunas that barely make you sweat. I spent a good hour in there one evening just decompressing from the day, and it felt like having a private spa. The whole setup feels more like staying at a friend’s really nice mountain house than a typical hotel room. Sure, it’s only rated three stars, but sometimes those ratings don’t tell the whole story – this place punches way above its weight class. The 8/10 rating from other guests makes total sense once you’re there. It’s not going to win any design awards, but everything works exactly like it should, the mountain views from the windows are properly stunning, and honestly, when you’re soaking in that jacuzzi after a day on the slopes or trails, you’ll forget all about fancy marble lobbies and room service.
