Golden Lemon Overview
Golden Lemon turned out to be a pleasant surprise during our trip to the Carpathians. This three-star hotel is located right on Gagarina Street in Mizhhirʼʼya, and while I was initially a bit skeptical about the name (why a lemon in a mountain town?), the staff quickly explained everything — the owners are simply big citrus lovers, and you can feel it even in the lobby decor with bright yellow accents.
The rooms are clean and comfortable, with decent views of the surroundings. Nothing extraordinary, but everything you need is there — comfortable beds, a proper shower (hot water was always available), and even the mini-fridge worked without complaints. Wi-Fi was stable, which is important when you want to share mountain photos with friends. The only thing that was slightly surprising — the walls aren’t the thickest, so if neighbors are active, you can hear conversations, but overall it’s not critical.
What I particularly liked was the location. It’s literally a five-minute walk to the center of Mizhhirʼʼya, and parking by the hotel is free (which is rare even in small towns). Breakfasts are simple but tasty — traditional Ukrainian dishes plus several European options. The owners are very friendly and ready to recommend interesting routes around the area. Overall, for this price and with an 8.0 rating — it’s quite a decent choice for a short stay in the Carpathians, especially if you’re planning to actively explore the region rather than sit in your room.

Дуже просторий, світлий, комфортний котедж! Сучасний дизайн і гарний вигляд. Є всі необхідні зручності.
Дуже приємна власниця! Підказала, куди можна прогулятись і як туди дістатись. А ще трошки подовжила нам перебування в котеджі, бо у нас потяг був пізно ввечері, а заселення в той день не було. Це свідчить про людяність і розуміння!)
