Гірська Хатина

Гірська Хатина is a real gem in Mykulychyn, where you can experience authentic Carpathian atmosphere without excessive pretension. This four-star hotel is located on Lesi Ukrainky Street, just a few minutes’ walk from the town center, but far enough from the main road to avoid traffic noise. Parking is free and spacious — a big plus, especially in summer when there are many tourists here. Check-in went smoothly, the staff is friendly and ready to suggest the best hiking routes in the mountains.

The rooms are decorated in traditional Hutsul style, but with all modern amenities — Wi-Fi works reliably, hot water is always available, and the windows offer wonderful views of forests and mountains. The morning panorama is especially impressive when fog slowly rises from the valley. Breakfasts are homemade, with local products — definitely try the brynza cheese and Hutsul flatbreads. The only downside — walls are a bit thin, so if neighbors are noisy, you might hear them (but this is rather an exception). In winter it’s especially cozy here — there’s a fireplace in the lobby, and everything around is covered with snow like in a fairy tale. I recommend this hotel to those looking for a genuine mountain vacation without excessive commercialization.
