Forest Hub

Forest Hub is a pleasant find in Slavske, especially if you, like me, appreciate coziness without unnecessary pretensions. This three-star hotel is located on Voloshyna Street, a bit away from the main hustle and bustle, which actually turned out to be a plus — it’s quite quiet at night, you can sleep normally after a day on the slopes. Parking is free right at the entrance (in winter this is a real salvation when you don’t want to drag skis across half the town). The staff is friendly, check-in went smoothly, although reception doesn’t work 24/7 — better to give advance notice about late arrival.

The rooms are clean and quite spacious, furniture is simple but functional. Wi-Fi works well, hot water is available constantly (I checked in the morning after other guests’ shower procedures). Breakfasts are nothing special — standard selection, but you won’t leave hungry. What I liked most was the location: about ten minutes walk to the lifts, and not far to the center of Slavske either. In summer, it’s probably ideal here — forests all around, fresh air, you can walk the trails directly from the hotel.

Overall, Forest Hub is one of those cases where you get a bit more than you expected for the price. Nothing wow-factor, but everything necessary is there, the atmosphere is homey, and the staff really tries. If you’re planning an active vacation and need a hotel just to sleep and have breakfast — I definitely recommend it. I would come back here again, especially in the off-season when prices are even nicer.
