The soundproofing is solid too, which matters more than you’d think when you’re trying to sleep off a day of hiking in the Carpathians.

They’ll tell you about the hiking trails that don’t show up on Google Maps, or which train times actually work if you’re planning a day trip to Brasov. The location means you’re walking distance to everything that matters – the castle, the monastery, those little restaurants where locals actually eat – but you’re not paying tourist-trap prices for a bed that’s literally on the main street. I’d definitely book this again, especially if I was planning to stick around Sinaia for more than just a quick castle visit.
