Файна Чічка is a really nice place to stay in Yaremche, and I’m saying this as someone who actually spent the night there twice. This three-star hotel is located on Stusa 66, in a quiet area, but still close enough to the center — about 10-15 minutes on foot to the main attractions. There’s parking available (free!), which is very important, especially in summer when Yaremche is packed with tourists. The rooms are clean and cozy, with wooden decorative elements that add that Hutsul charm. Wi-Fi works reliably, hot water is always available — for three stars, that’s already good.
The staff is friendly and always ready to suggest where to go and what to see. At reception, they recommended an excellent route to Probiy waterfall (literally 20 minutes on foot), and also told me where to buy local souvenirs at reasonable prices. Breakfast is simple but tasty — homemade pastries, cheese, sausage, porridge. Nothing extraordinary, but you get properly fed before heading into the mountains. The hotel operates year-round, but it’s best to visit from May to October — winters in the Carpathians are quite cold, though for winter tourism enthusiasts that might be a plus.
The only downside — the walls are a bit thin, so if neighbors are noisy, you might hear them. But overall, Файна Чічка offers good value for money in Yaremche. The 8.0 out of 10 rating is well deserved. I’d go back there again, especially if I’m planning an active mountain vacation — the location is perfect for hikes to Hoverla or just walks around the town.
