The kitchenettes are actually functional (I mean, you can cook real meals, not just heat up instant noodles), and the beds are surprisingly comfortable for what you’re paying. I stayed there in February during the skiing madness, and while the building looks pretty standard from the outside, the inside is clean and well-maintained. The heating works great too, which matters when it’s -15°C outside and you’re coming back from a day on Kasprowy Wierch. What really impressed me was how responsive the staff was – I had a minor issue with the WiFi password, and someone actually answered their phone at 9 PM and sorted it out within minutes.

Here’s the thing that makes this place worth booking: you’re literally a five-minute walk from Wielka Krokiew (the ski jump), maybe seven minutes to the cable car station, and the bus stop for Morskie Oko is right around the corner. I watched other tourists struggling with their luggage from accommodations way out in Kościelisko or somewhere, spending half their day just getting to the mountains. Meanwhile, I could grab fresh oscypek from the market on Krupówki, walk back to the apartment to drop off my purchases, and still make it to the afternoon cable car without rushing. The grocery store is practically next door too – Biedronka is maybe 100 meters away, which saved me a fortune on breakfast and snacks. Honestly, for a 3-star place, it punches way above its weight. The 9/10 rating makes total sense once you consider what you’re getting for the price point in this location.
