Just got back from FAMILY еко номери та будинки, and I can say — this is exactly the kind of place where you want to spend a few days in the mountains without unnecessary fuss. This three-star hotel is located right on Heroiv Maidanu street in Yablunytsya, so it’s literally a 10-minute walk to the ski lifts. The owners are very welcoming — they met us at 7:30 PM (even though check-in is until 6:00 PM) and even offered us tea. There’s parking right next to the building, which is very convenient, especially when you’re carrying skis and all the gear.
The rooms are truly eco — everything is simple, but clean and cozy. We had a room with a small balcony overlooking the mountains (this is especially beautiful in winter). There was enough hot water for everyone, even though the hotel was almost full — that was a pleasant surprise. The internet works fine, even video calls went through without problems. The only thing that might bother some people — you can sometimes hear the neighbors through the walls, but it’s not critical, especially if you go to sleep after a full day on the slopes.
The hotel is rated 8.0, and that’s quite fair — for this price in the mountains, it’s hard to find anything better. The hosts give useful advice about routes (there are several nice trails right from the hotel), and can recommend where to eat in the village. In winter it’s especially atmospheric here — snow, silence, and in the morning you wake up to sunlight streaming through the window. In summer, they say, it’s also wonderful — you can go hiking. We’ll definitely come back here, maybe for a longer stay.
