I grabbed coffee from a little place just around the corner that clearly wasn’t designed for tourists – just good, strong Polish coffee and pastries that cost a fraction of what you’d pay near the main square. The hotel’s position means you can explore the Karkonosze mountains during the day, then come back to somewhere that feels more like a neighborhood than a tourist trap. Parking was straightforward too, which is honestly a relief in mountain towns where you sometimes end up hiking half a mile just to reach your hotel. If you’re planning to visit during peak season – summer hiking months or winter skiing – this feels like the kind of place that maintains its charm even when everywhere else is packed with crowds.
