You know what caught me off guard about Dwa Potoki? I was expecting another generic mountain hotel when I pulled up to ul. Polna 5, but this place actually has character. It’s tucked into this quiet residential street in Karpacz – not the main drag where all the tourist buses idle, but close enough that you can walk to the gondola station in maybe ten minutes. The building itself has that solid, no-nonsense Polish mountain architecture that looks like it could weather any Sudeten storm.
The inside surprised me even more, honestly. For a 3-star place, they’ve got their act together – the lobby smells like fresh pine and coffee instead of that musty hotel smell you sometimes get in older buildings. My room was on the second floor facing the hills, and I mean, you can actually see the Śnieżka peak from some of the windows on clear days. The beds are properly firm (none of that sinking-into-quicksand nonsense), and they’ve got this interesting breakfast setup where you feel like you’re eating in someone’s extended dining room rather than a sterile hotel restaurant. The staff speaks decent English, which – let’s be real – isn’t always a given in smaller Polish mountain towns, and they actually know the hiking trails well enough to give you useful advice about which paths to avoid when it’s muddy.
What really sold me on this place was the practical stuff that matters when you’re actually staying somewhere. There’s proper parking right there – not some sketchy lot three blocks away where you worry about your car. The Wi-Fi works throughout the building, even up on the third floor where I initially thought I’d be cut off from civilization. And here’s something I appreciated: it’s quiet at night. Karpacz can get pretty rowdy during peak season with all the weekend warriors from Wrocław, but ul. Polna stays peaceful. You’ll hear the occasional car, sure, but no late-night party noise bleeding in from nearby bars. The 8.9 rating makes sense once you’ve been there – it’s not trying to be the Ritz, but it does what it promises really well. If you’re planning to spend your days hiking the Karkonosze trails or hitting the slopes at Kopa, you want a place that feels like a proper base camp rather than just somewhere to crash, and Dwa Potoki delivers on that front.

The stay was really beautiful. The hotel has a great location. The breakfast and dinner where so delicious. We habe been so happy, that we could stay there.

Location surrounded by forest, rooms with balcony, very friendly staff, hotel accepts dogs, free parking.
What could be improved: weak internet connection, limited offerings in Spa ( closed sauna, small pool in comparison to size to hotel, SPA treatment needs to be booked in advance due to limited capacity)

Hotel is in very quite and calm place in nature, but it is still about 10 - 15 min by walk from city center.
Very good breakfast.
In SPA we were alone :-)
What could be improved: Bed was quite small for two people and not so comfortable (spring matress).
Sauna was small (max for two people), there are three saunas, only one of them worked.

What could be improved: The room was not done after the first day. Asking the reception to book a taxi that accepts payment with credit card did not work, taxi drivers were asking payment in cash only saying that they did not receive the request for card payment when the taxi was booked

the staff very helpful and the are of the hotel was very good for going to the main road or to the mountains, there is room for kids to play downstairs, breakfast typical polish
What could be improved: we booked family room to find out that there were 2 rooms connected to each other, this is not what we expected and was not clearly communicated - and we did not wanted it, additionally room was very dark that we needed to put lights on during the day when the sun was shining, pillows were not good - very flat, could be exchanged but did not help too much, facilities in the room saw their best time few years ago. in general value for money was not there - for the same price we could have apartment in much higher standard, breakfast was missing orange juice

Cisza, ustronne miejsce, darmowy parking, bliskość do centrum, deptaka, różnorodność wyboru menu śniadania (szwedzki stół), zachowana czystość na całym terenie hotelu oraz bardzo miła i uczynna obsługa hotelowa.
What could be improved: Brak możliwości wysuszenia ręcznika po kąpieli czy ubrań po wędrówce pieszej w deszczu po powrocie do hotelu. Wszystkie grzejniki wyłączone zwłaszcza najważniejszy w łazience przez co panowała duża wilgoć.
