Dva Opryshka

Dva Opryshka is a real gem in Yaremche, especially if you’re looking for a cozy place with authentic Carpathian atmosphere. This 4-star hotel is located on Svobody Street, which is very convenient — it’s about 10-15 minutes walk to the city center, and around 20 kilometers to the Bukovel lift. Parking is free (which is rare in the Carpathians!), and there are usually enough spots, though in summer it’s better to arrive before 6 PM. Check-in goes smoothly, the staff is friendly and always ready to suggest where to eat or what’s worth visiting.

The rooms are quite spacious with nice mountain views — I especially recommend asking for a room with a balcony on the upper floors. The bathroom is clean, hot water is available constantly, which isn’t always the case in mountain hotels. Breakfasts are delicious with lots of homemade food — dumplings, cheese pancakes, Carpathian herbal tea. The only downside — walls are a bit thin, so if your neighbors like to make noise, you might hear it. In winter it’s especially cozy here — there’s a fireplace in the lobby, and staff will help organize ski transfers. Overall, the hotel deserves its 8.0 rating — good value for money, plus genuine mountain hospitality.
