The Tatra views change throughout the day, which sounds cheesy but is actually mesmerizing – morning mist, afternoon clarity, evening alpenglow. I found myself checking them constantly like they were going to disappear. The 9-point rating makes sense when you experience it; it’s not trying to be a luxury resort, but everything they do, they do really well. Even small touches like the coffee quality and how quiet it gets at night – you hear birds and wind, not traffic or drunk tourists.
