The building has that authentic Podhale architecture – you know, the wooden details and steep roofs that aren’t just for show but actually make sense when you’re getting dumped on by mountain snow. What really got me though was stepping inside after a day of hiking and realizing they have a proper sauna. Not some tiny afterthought sauna, but one where you can actually stretch out and let the Tatra mountain soreness melt away. Grunwaldzka itself is perfect if you want to be close to everything but not right in the circus of the main pedestrian area.
