The cottage itself has that proper mountain cabin feel – none of that fake rustic stuff you see everywhere. Parking is right there, which sounds obvious but you’d be surprised how many mountain places make you haul your luggage up some impossible hill.

In winter, it’s almost eerily quiet – in the best possible way. The only real downside is that you’ll need a car to get around, but that’s true for most places worth visiting in this region anyway. It’s about a 15-minute drive to Jelenia Góra if you need proper shops or restaurants, though honestly, the local grocery in the village has surprisingly decent basics.
