The name literally tells you everything you need to know – it’s right there on Grunwaldzka Street with this incredible view of Giewont mountain that honestly makes you stop mid-conversation and just stare. I mean, sure, half the places in Zakopane claim mountain views, but this one actually delivers. When you’re having your morning coffee (and trust me, you’ll want to wake up early for this), Giewont is just sitting there like some dramatic backdrop that makes your Instagram followers unreasonably jealous.

The location is pretty brilliant, actually. Grunwaldzka runs parallel to the main Krupówki pedestrian street – close enough that you can stumble back from the bars and restaurants in about three minutes, but far enough that you’re not dealing with the tourist chaos right outside your window. It’s one of those side streets that locals use as a shortcut, so you get this nice mix of authentic neighborhood feel without being completely isolated from the action. The building itself has that traditional Zakopane wooden architecture thing going on, but it’s been updated enough that everything actually works properly – which, let’s be honest, isn’t always a given with some of the older mountain accommodations around here.

What really makes this place work is the attention to those little details that matter when you’re actually living somewhere for a few days. The heating is solid (crucial in Zakopane winters, obviously), there’s decent storage space for all your hiking gear or ski equipment, and the WiFi doesn’t mysteriously disappear every time it snows. I was surprised by how quiet it stays at night considering you’re basically in the heart of town – maybe it’s the way the building sits, or just good windows, but you can actually sleep without earplugs. The whole setup feels more like staying in someone’s well-appointed mountain house than a typical tourist rental. And honestly, with a 9-point rating, other people are clearly picking up on the same vibe. It’s got that sweet spot pricing for a three-star place where you’re getting solid value without any nasty surprises – just a comfortable, authentic Zakopane experience with that killer mountain view that never gets old, even after a week of staring at it.

This place is amazing. Located in the heart of Zakopane with a magical atmosphere. The house is very clean with huge living room enough for 6 people. The garden is the best part with your very own creek running through the yard. The house is like a fairy tale but modern enough with dishwasher, etc. Definitely recommended!
