The fenced yard is what sold me though – finally somewhere I could let my retriever run around without constantly watching him. The owners clearly thought this through because there’s actual space, not just a tiny patch of grass like most “pet-friendly” places claim.

After spending the day hiking the red trail toward Kopa – which, by the way, is way more challenging than the guidebooks let on – coming back to fire up your own sauna feels almost ridiculously luxurious.
